The City of Centralia and the Centralia Parks Advisory Board is pleased to announce the 2009 schedule of events at the Band Shell. The Band Shell is located at the corner of S. Sycamore and E. 2nd behind the Centralia Regional Library. New benches in 2006 bring the permanent capacity to 128 seats. Additional improvements include roof replacement, a new marquee sign, and interior painting.
All movies start at dusk. You may want to bring a blanket or chair. The school or organization listed on the schedule will be selecting the movie and theme, but the entire community is invited to attend all movies. Movies are free and concessions (popcorn, nachos and soda) are available for sale. All concerts are free. Show times & rain cancellations (if necessary) will be announced in local media, www.cityofcentralia.org and Channel 99.
