The City of Centralia hired Alex McElroy as the new Assistant City Manager. Mr. McElroy completed a master degree in Public Administration from Maxine Levin Goodman College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, OH and a bachelor degree in Political Science from Heidelberg College in Tiffin, OH. Mr. McElroy previously served as the Assistant to the Administrator for Pierce Township where he acted as head of the technology committee, provided aid and support to the fiscal office and assisted the administrator with the daily operations of the township.
An Ohio native, Mr. McElroy stated: "I have certainly been honored with the opportunity to serve the residents of Centralia. Our community has a lot of exciting potential and it is a great time to be a resident of Centralia".
