The cost of the projec...Thank you for your comment. The cost of the project was essentially limited to the material costs of the lettering. The wood and paint used to fabricate the sign was around $300. The City utilized Kaskaskia College's Extension Center students for the labor of its construction and the City Fire Department and Public Property employees to secure the sign. The City also has plans to install lighting around the sign to illuminate the lettering at night. The cost of the lighting will around $300.
